Compare frame tension with a backed razor saw

The HT0034 uses a small hacksaw frame rather than a backed razor-saw handle. Blade tension can be adjusted, and the frame is described as allowing six blade-angle settings. The accompanying aluminum box provides 45-, 90- and 135-degree cutting slots; those three guide angles are different from the six ways to set the blade in the frame.

The selected Mini Hacksaw Set itemizes one frame, one aluminum box and one blade. An ABS grip and non-slip PVC handle are described. The nominal 6-inch saw and 5.3-inch box refer to different parts, not to the maximum stock cross-section the system can cut.

The supplied blade needs a material check: detailed text calls it bi-metal with HSS teeth, while a blade-material entry says aluminum alloy. Exact blade-alloy claims are therefore excluded from the choosing attributes.
